Locations that survive a second setup

A beautiful square at 8:00 can be a crowd at 11:00. We recce for the whole plot, not the first still.

Recce notes include sun path, power, toilets, and whether a 12K can enter the lift. Romance is for the treatment; logistics are for the PDF.

We photograph the space at the hour we intend to shoot. A dusk recce does not prove a noon still.

Permits name stills and motion. A photography permit that forbids ‘filming’ will stop the second unit.

Neighbors and security get a one-pager. Surprise is not a production value.

Weather cover is a real interior, not a café we have not asked. If rain is likely, the interior is already in the call sheet.

Fllect House sits in Ghent: brick, linen, a colour desk, a canal two streets away. We produce commercial stills and films that should feel like they were made by people in a room, because they were. The house is the plot. Windows are the key until they are not. When we add HMI, we do it to match the weather, not to invent a different hour. Agencies who want neon should not write. Agencies who want a partner for print, site, and a short film in one language should.
